This survey is about Barak Obama. His birth name is Barak Hussein Obama and he was born in Hawaii. His mother was (11) a white American (25) and his father was (11) a black Kenyan (25). His parents got divorced when he was 2 years (14) old. He attended Chicago law school and he also studied at Harvard University(25) .When he finished his education, he started teaching at Harvard University.(25) He also became Harvard University editor reviewer (23) and he was the first African American (25) in that position . Obama is the first black president of United-States. This report was (11) done (18) to find out how the first black president will bring about change for people (18). So the Canadian and the American people gave their reasons for this big change.

This survey was (11) sent to two different group of age (18):
The people from 18 to 29 years old (14) and the people from 30 years and older. So this survey’s questions were the fallowing: 1- If you had to voted (10) during the last United States elections, (23) would you have voted for Barack Obama or John McCain (22)?2- Do you think (18) that the first black president in this country will bring about change (23)?3-Barack Obama leads (11) his (18) campaign (22) by talking about change, hope and responsibility (22). (23)5-Do you think that Obama will bring about peace for (18) USA and other countries? Would you like (18) the war would stop (11)? Explain your answer. The results were very interesting because older people used to think (11) that Obama was (11) not as important to younger people as he was (11) to older people. (23) For the first question, both groups (19, 14) answered Barak Obama. For the second (22) question, both group said that Barak (25) Obama means change (18, 11). The reason was (11) because (17) it (18) shows (10) that the society was (11) not racist and also because Obama is a new hope after years of obscurantism. For the third question, some people said that he would respect them and others said no, because he is not the only person who decides in the USA. (23) For the fifth question, the whole group of 30 years (17) and older said they would prefer Obama’s politics but 5 % of younger people said they would prefer (10) Harper’s (25, 22) politics. For the question six, (24) which was about bringing peace, some people said that they were (11) sure that he would (11) bring peace and some people said that they didn’t know.
The survey and the result show (10) that Barak Obama (25) will bring about a change for people. It shows that the majority of Americans (25) are not racist and they are very realistic.(22) Barak Obama talks about hope and responsibilities (22) in his speeches(22) .Even if he is not the only one who decides for United States politics, (23) he will have a big influence. Politics is not just about talking and it is also (21) about responsibilities (22). Barak Obama believes that United States (23) will take (22) the world but he did not want (14) (11) to make enemies (22).He wants (14) to make (18) a good relation (18) with other countries. He’s working (22) on world economics and he is also making changes inside his country (24). He is working on Medical Care (14) at beginning (22) of his post (23). Barak Obama was a good choice (23) because he’s a smart and educated person. We hope he does his best for United States (23).

Witing final test ( Tryst )

Tryst should win the best play of the year award

Today, most of us like to hear stories which are related to real lives. Tryst is a story that happened in real life all the time. When I watched this play, I was thinking about the similar stories that I hear all the time from friends and family. Tryst should win the best play of the year award because it is a realistic story and because everything about this play was good.

This play was about a rich and middle age woman who has never been married in her life. All she wanted was to get married and have a romantic life. She was not a very good looking woman and she was working in a Hat Shop. Finally, one day she met a good looking man who liked her and he asked her to marry him. She fell in love with him and she got married without telling her family. After a while she found out that her husband wants to steal her money and walks away. She got mad at him and she asks him to stay with her. She tells her husband that they can open a Hat Shop together and become rich. She tells him that they can live happily ever after together. Her husband accepted but at the end of the play he killed her in the bath.
This story shows two different characters. The man was a good looking man who could not be faithful to women and he was always getting advantage of them by stealing their money. He always was choosing ordinary women who have never been married. These kind of women are always more sensitive and they fall in love faster and easier. This man could not change himself because that was his personality and his nature. These kind of men are everywhere in our real lives. There are many men who are always looking for easy women to get advantage of them. It’s not only about men and women but we also see these kinds of situations between two human beings. Many people are always looking for friendships that they can get advantage. This play should win the best play because it is very realistic.

What was also very good about this play is that the actor and the actress were perfect for this kind of play. The woman’s style and attitudes were showing her personality. The way she dressed and the way she was acting was very natural for her situation. The man character and his personality were perfect as well. They both spoke loud and very clear. The design of their room and the colors of lights were giving a sad and mysterious feeling to people. The way the woman was crying was very natural and sad.

Everything in this play was very good and it deserves to win the best play award. It is a very touching play. That is not only my opinion because I saw all the people in the play were very touched by it. It is good to show the reality in the plays or movies because it reminds us of our real lives.

- Interest level:
This course was the best course I have ever seen in Learning Express Library. It was very interesting and there were lots of information. It was a bit long because there were five lessons. The best thing about this course was that first it teaches and after it gives you the test to exanimate yourself. Then at the end of each test it corrects you.

- what you learned:
- There where 5 lessons in this course:

Lesson 1: CapitalizationLesson 2: Periods, Question Marks and Exclamations PointsLesson 3: Avoiding Faulty SentencesLesson 4: Commas and Sentence PartsLesson 5: Commas that Separate

I also learned that if I make a word shorter than what it is (for example: United State of America), I should write U.S.A. and put a period after each word.

- Your score: This test did not give me any note because there were different sections and I didn’t write down my score in each section but in each section I answered 70% of the questions correctly.
